	Yesterday a pioneer For over 90 years Carter has offered pioneering cutting edge technology for industrial applications. We originated the concept of guide line lights and inspection lighting with unique products based on incandescent lights developed in the 1960’s as well as perfecting band saw guide and wheel solutions . In the 1980’s Carter extended the functionality of the guide line lighting products by incorporating the then new Laser Light modules into our products as well as expanding our popular industrial guide, tire and wheel products into the growing home hobbiest markets.
	Today a pace-setter Today we have two divisions. The high tech division focusses on state-of-the-art technology with products such as the Z-Laser 2D and 3D Laser Projection Systems capable of creating complex patterns of light for use in a wide variety of manufacturing and assembly operations. We currently offer the most extensive line of Laser Guide Line Lights and Pattern Projection Systems available in North America. The Classic division focusses on our extensive woodworking and wood turning products. With cutting edge innovations for the light industrial and home hobbiest markets Carter currently has one of the largest offerings in products for the band saw as well as an ever growing woodturning product line.
