Yesterday a Pioneer

For over 9 decades, Carter has delivered pioneering, cutting-edge technology for industrial applications. We originated the concept of guideline lights and inspection lighting with unique incandescent-based products developed in the 1960s, while also perfecting band saw guide and wheel solutions. In the 1980s, Carter expanded the functionality of guideline lighting by incorporating then-new laser light modules, while also extending our popular industrial guides, tires, and wheel products into the growing home hobbyist market.

Today a Pace-Setter

Today, Carter operates two divisions. Our High-Tech Division focuses on state-of-the-art technology, offering products such as Z-Laser 2D and 3D Laser Projection Systems capable of creating complex light patterns for a wide variety of manufacturing and assembly applications. We currently offer the most extensive line of laser guideline lights and pattern projection systems available in North America.

Our Classic Division focuses on our extensive woodworking and woodturning product lines. With continued innovation for light industrial and home hobbyist markets, Carter offers one of the largest selections of band saw products available, along with an ever-growing lineup of woodturning solutions.
